Our Surf School was created in 1999 (pioneering surf schools in Suances) in order to approach and to offer a compromise between surf and the society.
Three have been the mainstays on which we have based our daily work to get this goal:

1.-To approach Surfing Philosophythrough our beginner courses for all ages.

2.- To encourage a solid base of surfers (nursery) through the Suances City School of Surf.

3.- To consolidate a competition team with Jalaika Surfboards and ‘Los Locos’ Surf Shop (Torrelavega). So that, the surfers who decide to take part on competitions and are outstanding on them are supported with the best technical equipment and continuous learning. Gonzalo Calle, Gerardo Madero, Lorena Sáez, J. Chocan y Eduardo Orduña are clear examples of expert surfers of competition who belong to our staff.

Nowadays the school is sponsored by a renowned surfing brand such as Billabong, one of the world-wide top marks of surf and recognized by the Cantabrian Federation of Surf, the organism that regulates surf in our region.
